Is SkoolPay really free? What's the catch? +
Yes — SkoolPay is 100% free. No credit card, no subscription, no trial period. We built SkoolPay to help Filipino families manage school finances more easily. There are no hidden fees, no premium upgrades, and no ads.
Do I need to install an app on my phone? +
No installation required! SkoolPay works directly in your phone's browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.). Just go to skoolpay.xyz and you're good to go. You can also save it to your home screen so it looks and feels like a regular app — but nothing to download.
I'm not good with technology. Is this hard to use? +
We designed SkoolPay to be as simple as possible. If you can send a text message or use Facebook, you can use SkoolPay. The setup takes about 3 minutes, and after that, everything is automatic — you just wait for the reminders and record your payments with one tap.
Is my information safe? +
Yes. SkoolPay only stores your name, email, and the payment records you enter yourself. We do not share your personal information with anyone. Your data is kept private and secure.
Can I track fees for more than one child? +
Yes! You can add as many children as you need — all in one account. Each child can be enrolled in a different school, and you'll see all their payment schedules together in one place.
Does the school need to be on SkoolPay for it to work? +
No. As a parent, you can start using SkoolPay right away — even if your child's school is not registered. You simply enter the fee details yourself and SkoolPay handles the reminders. If the school is registered, they'll also receive a notification whenever you record a payment.
My husband / wife also wants to see the payments. Is that possible? +
Yes! SkoolPay has a Collaborators feature. You can invite your partner or another family member to access your account so you're both up to date on what's been paid and what's still due. Each person has their own login.
I'm a school owner/admin. How do we get notified of payments? +
Register your school on SkoolPay (it's free). Once a parent from your school records a payment, you'll automatically receive an email notification with all the details — student name, amount, payment type, and even the uploaded receipt if they attached one. No more chasing parents for proof of payment.
